Listed below are some of the initiatives we’ve spearheaded inhouse to create a more sustainable work environment.
Reduce waste
- Communicate via email & only print forms and papers when absolutely necessary
- Switch off all lights when not in use
- Reduce wooden pallet waste by giving pallets to people and companies for free who regularly need them for other means
Reuse materials
- Reuse packaging from shipments when possible, including boxes, foam, and plastic air bubbles, and recycle any boxes
damaged beyond use - When possible, promote sustainable cleaning products in recyclable containers
Recycle goods
- Stress recycling as a company-wide goal; place recycling bins
in-house for plastics, paper, cardboard, and metals - Recycle empty ink cartridges
- Recycle electronics when necessary at local electronic dropoff locations
